FUNDRAISING FOR THE EARTHQUAKE DEVASTATED HATAY/ANTAKYA
VILLAGE AND FAMILY
Greetings, I am Erdogan IFLAZOGLU, and I come to you today seeking assistance on behalf of my village and family in light of the recent earthquakes that have struck Turkey and Syria. My family of six, including two children, resides in the Hatay Antakya province, one of the areas that has been most heavily impacted by the disaster.
Thankfully, my family managed to escape before our childhood home was completely destroyed, but it is now uninhabitable. The rural location of our village has made it challenging for us to receive proper aid and essential supplies. Emergency crews are prioritizing the city center, and the infrastructure in the countryside is not sufficient enough to reach us.
I am deeply concerned that my family and our neighbors will soon run out of basic necessities. Any aid we receive will be directed towards securing these essentials and providing shelter. We are also in urgent need of supplies to prevent the spread of communicable diseases.
Hatay is a beautiful and culturally rich area with great potential for tourism. In the future, I hope to convert any temporary shelter into a guest house once we have recovered. I would be honored to host those who are able to help us get back on our feet.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all those who are able to assist us in this time of need. God bless.
Notice of the building
to be demolished
Unfortunately, we have received an official report from the government stating that our home will be demolished within the next three days. This news has come as a significant blow, as we still have personal belongings inside that we are unable to retrieve. We humbly request your assistance during this trying time, regardless of the magnitude of your contribution. Your support would mean the world to us and would significantly aid us in moving forward. Thank you for considering our plight.
